Hot action for cool heads – that is what June is all about in Tirol.
June Activities
Sölden offers mountain bikers not only a unique network of trails but also the opportunity to become citizens of the Bike Republic Sölden. Equipped with a Bike Republic passport, riders can explore this huge region at the end of the Ötztal Valley comprising nine artificial and 15 natural trails. Highlights include the Leiterberg Trail, one of Tirol’s Great Trails as chosen by a panel of experts. The season begins with a bang in the Bike Republic. June is a month when not only Tirol’s mountain bikers but also the region’s meadows and pastures come to life. This time of year is famous for its alpine roses, which can be seen in full bloom on the lower slopes of the Alps. Guided walks in the rose-rich meadows of the Wilder Kaiser Mountains are available in June.

In early June it’s not the mountains but the dancefloors of Tirol that are on fire at the annual Heart of Noise Festival. Don’t stop the dance!” is the motto from 7 to 9 June at venues such as the new Haus der Musik. Heart of Noise is an electronic music festival famous for its experimental beats, surprise line-ups and sensational atmosphere to rival any music festival in Europe.
Mountain bike fans keen to see the world’s best freestylers in action should head to the Bikepark from 12 to 16 June for Crankworx, the number one international gravity biking event. Downhill fans and top pros will descend on Innsbruck for a week of insane action.
